Okay, so....
now I'm considering not only transfering out of ASU... but out of the country entirely. Apparently, in Brighton, England, there's the University of Brighton that has an art program and they have an exchange program where I can go to school there for a semester or two.
If I do this, though, I know it'll kick my ass, because I'll have to go through financial aid, I'll have to be on the phone a lot, I'll need to take a look at this university first, I'll need to find a place to live, I'll need a job, I need to know the culture, I'll need exchangeable plugs.... guh, lots of shit I need to do. The loans for this trip will abuse the hell out of me, I know, but I really feel like it'll be worth it. >: I hope I'm not being too optimistic, especially since I considered moving to England for a few years to be an art professor there. And if I do this, and I'm able to go for two semesters, I'll have to do so in Spring of 2011. Yes, that far ahead, because I know how bad the financial aid works, and I'd love to be able to stay for the summer as well, and then head back to school in the fall, and be home for Christmas and finish off the rest of my schooling in America.
omgggggggggggggg... that's my plan, though. Do the 2010 Spring semester at ASU, do ALL the transfer paperwork during the summer and fall, maybe get my trip to England this summer for a good two weeks, and then transfer for the Spring and Fall of 2011 to Brighton, then come back and finish the schooling, probably at ASU. Or I might consider Art Institute of Atlanta. EITHER WAY, I want to spend at least one semester in England.
>: does that sound way too optimistic or reasonable? Shit, I want to travel the entire world, but I'll stick with going to England first and foremost, since that seems to be the easiest target to reach.
I'll need to have a loooooong talk with my mother. Ooooo, yep, that's gonna be a fun one.
